The cards above are representative of our current and recent litters, refreshed as puppies are reserved; Dachshund litters in Singapore are small and move quickly. We keep no fake inventory: WhatsApp us and you get today's real answer, live photos, and an honest wait time if your coat and colour combination is between litters. Most puppies are ready for homecoming at around 9 weeks old.

Long-haired or smooth: reading the cards
The COAT pill on each card matters more than the photo. A long haired dachshund puppy grows feathering on the ears, chest and tail through its first year, and grows into a brushing habit of two to three sessions a week. A smooth coat puppy stays wash-and-wear for life: a weekly once-over with a grooming mitt and done.
About 80% of the miniature dachshund puppies we place are long-haired, because that is what Singapore families ask for, and our colours run lighter than the breed average: cream and golden first, then black and tan, chocolate and tan, and the occasional single dapple. If you want a combination that is not on a card, say so; the honest answer may be a short wait, and we will tell you exactly how short.
Coat changes nothing about the rules that matter: every card is a Miniature, every Miniature is HDB-approved under item 19, and every puppy leaves with the same health work behind it.

What to ask before you reserve
Good buyers ask hard questions, and we would rather you asked them here than learned them later. Ask about the parents: their adult size and coat tell you what the puppy grows into. Ask for vaccination dates in writing, not from memory. Ask how the shop handles back-safe living guide topics, because a seller who shrugs at IVDD is a seller to leave.
And verify the licence: any legitimate shop appears on the AVS public registry. Ours is AS24J00046, under Curious Tails. Check the HDB rules for Dachshunds too if you live in a flat: the answer is friendly, but it is worth reading before you commit.

From reservation to homecoming
Reserving is one WhatsApp message and a deposit; from there the runway runs itself. Vaccinations happen at weeks 6, 8 and 12 with deworming at every visit, and your dachshund puppy comes home at about week 9, a week after the second jab, with the third jab scheduled and reminded.
Between deposit and homecoming the puppy stays in our care at no cost, vaccinations continue on schedule, and if your renovation or travel plans push the date, free boarding covers up to a month. On delivery day we set up the playpen, walk you through the starter kit, and complete the AVS licence before we leave: the first licence is $13.50 for a puppy under five months.
Choosing male or female? For this breed the honest answer is that individual personality outweighs gender; both bond hard, both bark, both burrow. Pick the puppy whose energy matches yours at the viewing, not the symbol on the card.

Before homecoming: set the flat up back-safe
Use the week between reservation and homecoming well, because a Dachshund home is set up differently from other puppy homes. The playpen we deliver handles containment; what you add is the back-safe layer: a ramp or foam steps beside any sofa the puppy will be allowed on, a Y-shaped harness sized for a 9-week-old, and a house rule agreed by every human in the flat: nobody teaches the puppy that jumping off furniture is normal.
Two more small buys earn their keep: a non-slip runner if your flooring is tile or marble (traction protects growing joints), and a snuffle mat, because a scent hound with nothing to sniff will invent a hobby you will not enjoy. Everything else, from food to first-week routines, is in the starter kit and the notes we hand over with it.

Are these the actual puppies available today?
The cards are representative and refreshed regularly; litters move fast. WhatsApp us for live photos and video of exactly who is available this week, in the coat and colour you want.
Why are there no names on the cards?
You name your puppy, not us. Enquiries reference the colour, coat and age on the card, and we take it from there on WhatsApp.
Can I visit before deciding?
Yes. Viewings happen at 2 Balestier Road #01-701, weekdays 12pm to 6pm and weekends 10am to 6pm. WhatsApp first so the right puppies are ready to meet you.
Are all your puppies HDB-approved?
Yes. We place Miniature Dachshunds only, the size on HDB approved list item 19, so the licence transfer reads clean for any HDB address.
When can a puppy come home?
Around week 9, a week after the second vaccination. Vaccinations continue on schedule between reservation and homecoming, at our cost.
What if the puppy I liked is taken?
We tell you honestly and put you first in line for the closest match from the next litter, with a realistic wait time rather than a vague promise.
